Contract extension and trading update

Journey Group plc, a leading provider of catering services and in-flight products to the international airline and travel industries announces that Air Fayre CA Inc, (“Air Fayre”, the Group’s “US Division”), has extended its contract with United Airlines Inc. (“United”) out of Los Angeles International Airport (“LAX”).

Air Fayre established the relationship with United in 2008 with a seven year contract to serve United’s entire international and domestic in-flight catering needs at LAX.  Currently, this is approximately 5 international and 130 domestic flights per day at peak season. The contract extension is for a further three years commencing 1 January 2016.

The Board expects trading for the current year to be in line with expectations and this contract extension, together with the recently launched contract with FedEx out of Memphis, gives us further confidence in delivering against our expectations for 2016.”
